A Golden Theater Adventure
A night for girlfriends, sharing, and laughter at the Gem Theater
Looking for a reason to escape with your favorite girlfriends? Enjoy the night with heartfelt dialogue shared through a woman’s eyes that only a woman can appreciate – but even more so with their best friends. There are a 100 reasons why you can’t go but a really good one for why you should, it’s time to laugh!
Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron’s intimate collection of vignettes and monologues is based on the best-selling book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman, as well as on the recollections of the Ephrons’ friends. Like the book, this funny and poignant theatrical event uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell stories that all women can relate to. “The Vagina Monologues without the vaginas,” is how the Ephrons describe Love, Loss, and I Wore, while syndicated columnist Liz Smith simply raves, “This is an evening that goes directly to the heart, soul and vanity of every woman, young or old.” Directed by Karen Carpenter, the production features different 5-member, all-star casts.
